Social Campaigns

Purpose: Student move-in requires months of prep and work from staff across the university, not to mention hundreds of community ans student volunteers. With move-in weeks away and very few volunteers signed up, I developed a campaign to boost numbers.

Techniques: This was created in Photoshop.

Design Decisions: I wanted these graphics to emulate the energy that goes on during arrival. It’s an exciting time on campus and first-years begin a new chapter of their lives and returning students get back into the swing of college life. To do this, I layered images from campus and move-in from previous years. I also used a variety of university accent colors.

Outcome: This campaign was used on many platforms including: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Linked in. It was also used on many university accounts including: Pitt Official, Pitt Athletics, Alumni, Panther Central, and Student Affairs. This campaign brought our numbers from 30 volunteers to upwards of 300 volunteers in less than two weeks.
